Angus McLeod former under sheriff during Angus B McLeod era and longtime city resident died yesterday afternoon at his Los Angeles apartment the cause a heart attack. His body will be flown to Butte for burial expected Tuesday. He was born in Lake Linden Michigan 52 years ago and moved to Montana with his parents as a child.

Glasgow Man and Father of Nine Is Found Shot

Jens Fore, 52, married and father of nine, was found shot to death today at the Fairway farms where he worked. Fore had been ill for years and recently faced eviction of his cattle from grazing land slated for plowing. An envelope beside the body read Goodbye, everybody. Health gone. He shot himself in the mouth with a small caliber rifle near Frazer, where he had homesteaded years ago.
