Sheridan Man Turns 101 After Life in Wars and Ranching
Frank Romero of Sheridan celebrates his 101st birthday. Born May 1, 1862 in Mexico, he led Mexican Army units, fought Pancho Villa, lived as a bullfighter, and later moved to the United States in 1905. He married Emma in 1917, has four children and nine grandchildren, and credits longevity to hard work and limited sweets. He reads Spanish newspapers and remains active yet modest in retirement.
