The annual rate of price increases was 1.9 per cent for the first five months, with May seen below the government forecast. John Edward Petrovich six of 1004 E Sixth Anaconda drowned Wednesday in Warm Springs Creek after a bicycle fall. Authorities recovered the body near Marshall Park. He was born November 14 1961 in Anaconda. Survived by parents Fred and Mrs Petrovich and siblings Fred Carolyn Linda Bryan Anaconda and grandparents Frank Petrovich and Fred W Jones. Funeral arrangements are at Finnegan Funeral Home with a 8 45 Saturday Requiem Mass at St Peter Church.
Twenty one residents joined a public hearing at the Finlen Hotel on the proposed Interstate 90 interchange southeast of Butte near the 4 Mile View Roadway tieup with Continental Drive. Estimates place cost between 250 000 and 300 000 with mixed views on site and concerns for traffic hazards.

Spokesmen from seven large Montana hospitals say Medicare payments for crippled children's care are inadequate and will stop the service this Saturday except for emergencies. Hospitals involved include Deaconess and St. Vincent's Bil ling, Montana Deaconess and Columbus Great Falls, St Patrick's Missoula, St James Community Butte, and St Peter's Helena. The Montana Hospitals Association notes the group covers about 9 percent of such care in the state under federal Medicare rules.
