26 Are Dead in African Plane Crash
LAGOS Nigeria at least 26 people died in a BOAC Argonaut crash shortly after takeoff from Kano Nigeria. Of the 18 survivors three were critically injured and one is missing. The Airliner carried 38 passengers and seven crew including two dead. Captain H V Tomlinson survived. The plane was bound for London via Tripoli and crashed three miles from Kano Airport.
