Sixteen thousand fleeces from the Henrich estate flocks on the Crow Indian reservation sold to an eastern wool firm at 24.5 to 25.25 cents a pound, beating prior best prices. Anaconda Rancher Held on Poisoning Charge
George Norris, a rancher on a farm east of Anaconda, was arrested on a charge of maliciously exposing strychnine to poison domestic animals. He posted $1,000 bond after being jailed, in connection with a citywide dog poisonings that killed at least 125 dogs in three days and endangered children with poisoned candy.
