Search ends in California killings toll reaches 25
In Sutter County California the murder toll hits 25 as the sheriff says the search for more bodies of transients has ended unless infrared photos reveal new graves. Bodies unearthed in peach and plum orchards along the Feather River include 25 unidentifed remains found at the Jack Sullivan ranch. The sheriff noted some victims may have dug their own graves thinking they were garbage pits.
