Semi rollover on Homestake Pass hospitalizes driver

A cattle truck overturned on the infamous Homestake Pass curve on Interstate 90. Tom Rupert, 23, of Sherburn Minnesota, was pinned and hospitalized with cuts and bruises. another passenger was treated and released. Eastbound traffic resumed after crews freed the truck. Numerous injuries to cattle were noted and several crashes since December have prompted patrol scrutiny and new highway warnings urging trucks to gear down rather than braking.

Fire destroys historic 19 Mile home of Haxby family
