Missing light aircraft carrying two Anaconda men

A single engine plane with Leo Perkins and Richard Parini, missing since Wednesday, is believed down in the northwest Anaconda mountains. Search efforts resume at daybreak with ground crews, snowmobiles, and aircraft. The aircraft left Anaconda airport around 5:45 am, fuel enough for noon, and no flight plan was filed.

Miller to lead Fed replacing Burns as chairman

President Carter announces G William Miller of Textron Inc will replace Arthur Burns as Federal Reserve Board chairman.
