Walkerville Men Hurt in Mishap

Anaconda Montana reports four Walkerville men injured in a late Sunday night auto accident on the Butte Anacost and Deer Lodge highways near Walkerville. Emersott Davis of Walkerville and Arthur Eve of 718 North Walkerville were treated at St. Ann Hospital for bruises, lacerations, and possible internal injuries. Eve was released after treatment. State Highway Patrol, undersheriff, and deputies investigated the crash. Davis was driving.

Deer Lodge Driver Collides at Intersection

An unidentified motorist traveling from Deer Lodge failed to comply with a turn and drove into the intersection tearing out two fence posts and overturning several times. Davis was thrown about three feet across the highway near Butte Anaconda.

Social and Bazaar Slated Tonight at Crystal Room

Wide Search for Butte Missing Boys Ends Not Yet

Butte police conducted a city-wide search for Ronald nine and Kenneth seven Walsaner missing since Saturday afternoon. Ray Walsaner of 317 East Mercury told Police Desk Sergeant Cuthill the boys were last seen at home and have not been heard from since. The Waieaner family recently moved from Minnesota, making it unlikely they were visiting elsewhere. Ronald wore a red plaid jacket cap and bib overalls. Kenneth wore a black and white check jacket and bib overalls.

Alder Resident Samuel F. Peterson Dies in Butte

Samuel F. Peterson of Alder died Sunday afternoon in a Butte hospital after eight decades as a resident of Alder. A native of Oregon, he was a beloved figure in Alder and the surrounding area since 1947. Survived by several brothers and sisters in Alder, Butte, Sheridan, and Wyoming, his funeral will be held at the Episcopal church in Sheridan with burial at the Nevada Cemetery in Alder after services conducted by Rev. Thomas Ashworth.
