Death of Jack Kerns Linked to Poison Inquest Opens
The body of 33 year old Jack Kerns was found in his room at 81 East Park street shortly after noon yesterday. Coroner Mike Salot suspects poisoning from a draught and two empty bottles were found near the body. Kerns, said to be a miner, had lived at the address for three months and is survived by a brother and sister in Butte who remain unlocated. The body was taken to Daly-Shea mortuary and an inquest will be held later.
