Navy faces shortage of commissioned graduates at Annapolis
Secretary Adams told President Hoover it will be impossible to commission all 300 Navy cadets graduating from Annapolis next June. He urged raising officer to man ratios from four to six percent to match expanding aviation and fleet needs, with about 200 more vacancies anticipated this year.
