Montana congressman Arnold Olsen rejected a Washington columnist’s claim that he took a Spiegel Inc payoff. Olsen said any contributor who expected influence would be refused, and he identified seven of 13 major outside donors from his 1968 campaign. He said he knows lobbyist Cyrus Anderson but saw him rarely, and that Spiegel did not contribute to his campaigns.
