Flooding Begins For City Skating Rink In Anaconda
In Anaconda on December 3 a cold snap triggered flooding of the city commons to prepare the usual skating rink. The first water stream was turned on by a company delegation as ground clearing had already started. Additional floodings will follow to achieve first class ice with the bandstand to be enclosed for warmth and shoe and skate changes. The rink opens free to the public all winter and is well lit and popular with both children and adults.
