Glenn Opens County Campaign Yesterday
Governor Glenn launched the Democratic campaign here with a strong defense of the Wilson administration and constructive legislation. He praised Wilton and the Democratic record, attacked Republicans and Marion Butler, and urged support for Democrats on November 7 while predicting Wilson’s reelection. The crowd was large and attentive as Glenn spoke for about an hour, finishing with a folksy, preaching-style close.
