Antwerp Falls to Germans After Eleven Day Siege

The strong fortress of Antwerp, deemed the strongest in the world, capitulated Saturday to German forces after an eleven day bombardment. The city endured heavy shelling. many buildings burned while Forts fell and the German army moved in.
