Fourth of July plot turns into awkward serenade
In Three Forks cowboys Pink Deering Mathews and friends plan to fire a lavish Fourth of July display for Miss Dee Paige. They lure Squibs away with a fake emergency, celebrate at the Clark ranch with fireworks aimed at Miss Paige’s window, and surprise Mrs. Clark and her children. The scheme collapses when Miss Paige is not home and the celebrants return to a quiet scene with Mr Clyde and Miss Daisy leaving together, leaving the cowboys embarrassed and speculating about future mishaps.
