Bronson Tribune Promises Reform Through Nelson

Reginald Nelson, an Englishman, arrives in Bronson and rises to lead a reform movement. He teams with ministers Allan Rutledge and Albert Townley, exposes a corrupt circle led by Lawyer Graham and Roland Gregory, and launches the Bronson Tribune to champion Billy Sunday’s crusade and cleanse the city’s vice. A deadly confrontation between Nelson and Gregory ends with Gregory’s suicide and Nelson surviving, paving the way for Joy Graham to back a new reform paper.

Afterword on Bronson City and the Daily Courier Tribune

The Daily Courier Tribune in Bronson remains powerful under editor Reginald Nelson, aided by his wife Joy Graham. Joy’s father Dually sought church solace after Roland Gregory’s violent death, enabling Reginald to merge the Courier with the Trine. The couple honeymooned in Raghid, Earlham, celebrating the nobleman’s rise and the family’s presence in America.
