A Sad Christmas Ends In Tragedy Atlinia
Last week Mr and Mrs John Pinkey Hoffman planned a festive Christmas for seven year old Theodore Hoff man and other boys. The family stored away the unplaced gifts and the Christmas tree remained absent as they mourn the loss. Admiral George Dewey celebrated his 75th birthday in Washington with quiet acknowledgments and a busy day. He attributed his good health to regular riding and avoiding midnight banquets and presided briefly over navy affairs before a drive with Mrs Dewey and an informal evening.
