The state rested its case after a surprise move in the Gaston B. Means murder trial over Mrs. Maude A. King. Defense witnesses including Col. W. G. Means and Miss Belle Means testified that Mrs. King could have inflicted, caused, or even could have fired the fatal shot, based on tests with a 25 caliber pistol and blotters. W. H.
