England's charity hospitals spark debate on access

They argue charity hospitals privilege the rich and deny modest earners timely care, noting high endowments enable costly equipment while paying patients seek private or home care. The piece then shifts to obituaries and domestic notes including Miss Laura A King's death and a child's anecdote about a grandmother.
