A. E. Phelan alias Gus Phelan was arrested about 10 am and will be charged with murder in the stabbing death of Robert Irby on Texas street following an argument. Witnesses M. W. Athey and Herbert Curtis were held as material witnesses. Solicitor Chamberlain ordered others held for inquiry.
