Three Prichard shipyard workers D ic k Bancroft James Emzoe were hospitalized with serious injuries when a car overturned in a ditch on Craft Way near Stephens Road. E R E Lee suffered minor scrapes and was released from the infirmary. Wy A Morgan and John Harwell escaped. R E of Plateau was slightly hurt and released. The accident occurred about 7 am as the car tried to pass another vehicle. Bancroft sustained a skull fracture and other injuries, Emzee a skull fracture as well.
