County and federal officers raided a swamp whiskey still two miles northwest of Mount Vernon. Willie Smith, 18, supervised a 60 gallon tank and eight barrels of beer mash. 16 gallons of whiskey were seized before the still was destroyed. Smith jailed on prohibition charges.
