Miss Norma Smallwood of Tulsa Oklahoma winner of the 1926 Miss America title has joined the ranks of married beauties. She is honeymooning at the hunting lodge of her husband Thomas Gildhreas an oil man near Jackson Hole Wyoming 20 years old and the groom is named in this clipping.
Sea Mobile cotton shippers and steam ship agents will make no effort to hold up new rates and privileges on cotton from Mississippi valley points for export. A conference at Mobile Chamber of Commerce traffic department decided this today. County officers admitted no clues after a burglary at J. T. Peterson & Sons in Whistler yesterday. Finger print expert F. E. Mo id recovered prints though no suspects named. Stolen items include shirts caps shoes belts overalls work pants belts and cartons of cigarettes and hams. A Ford touring car was used to transport the goods.
