P. B. Stiggins, of 1502 Dauphin, reported to police after a boy ran in front of his eastbound car on Charleston Street. He carried the youth to a City bus where examination showed he was not seriously hurt.

Brewster 24 surrendered to Assistant County Jailer Vincent Curtin in front of the county jail after an escape with two accomplices from the county convict camp on the Pascagoula road on October 28. Brewster faced charges of escaping hard labor larceny of a county auto truck and burglary of the Tillman store. Williams admitted his role in the escape and burglary. Frederickson remains at large.
South Alabama conference members heard invitations for a future meeting place at today's session. DeFuniak Springs Florida appears likely to host, after surrendering this year’s conference to Mobile last year. The group also approved selling the Thomas Institute at DeFuniak Springs and borrowing sixty thousand dollars to retire debt on the Downing Institute at Brewton Alabama.
Babe Beck of near Tennessee and Lawrence streets reported two white men robbed him last night at 15 oclock taking a flashlight only the suspects described as a tall man in a light suit and a short man in a red sweater. Dr Grady Segrest at 155 Government street said a thief stole his overcoat and surgical case from his parked car.
