He fined A B Nadal A O Brown and E E Porter 15 each for permitting gaming and placed them on the state docket. Appeals were filed with bonds set at 100 for city cases and 300 for the state case. Kennedy gets ten years for second degree murder
James Kennedy pleaded guilty to second degree murder in the circuit court and was sentenced to ten years in the penitentiary by Judge Joel W. Goldsby.
