City expansion plan extends Mobile boundaries to include suburbs
The proposal extends the city eastward and northward adding areas such as Maga mee Point Plateau and other towns to the incorporated territory. The eastern boundary would run along St Stephen s meridian toward Shore Acres and Spring Hill while the northern limit moves beyond Three Mile creek to include additional lands. The southern line ends near Cedar Point road and the western edge follows Fulton road and Old Shel road. Present area is 13.93 square miles land and four miles water. expansion would add about four more square miles of water.
