Burglary Probe on Old Shell Road Stirs City
Officers investigate a Tuesday night burglary on Old Shell Road where a Chrysler roadster owned by W P Nygard of Hurley Miss was stolen and later found with a missing battery. Dr C J Bowling’s car was stolen from 1001 Old Shell Road and recovered later at Scott and Elmira streets. A shotgun was reported stolen from Max Hamm’s home at 1156 Old Shell Road. Brass believed stolen was seized after detectives arrested George Williams and Otis Williams for attempting to peddle it at a low price.
