Two Pensacola society women, Mrs Helen Stoeckinger and Miss Margaret Maura, were shot at near Elberta Baldwin County while driving from Mobile to Pensacola. Bullets hit the car but no injuries. A truck driver fired after a dispute over a cow incident. A warrant may be sought Thursday.

Man Fined For Public Drunkenness After Hall's Mill Crash
Daniel Malone, a black man, paid a $100 fine and costs for public drunkenness after a wreck on Hall's Mill Road. Malone pleaded guilty and faces three days in jail if the fine is unpaid.
