Frank Connell of Chiicton pleaded guilty today in circuit court to holding up and robbing T. W. Finch, a dairyman, in Toulminville on October 4. He received a three year term in the penitentiary. Dempsey Reach, arrested with Connell, had already pleaded guilty and was sentenced to three years. The hold up occurred on St Stephens road. Sim Lewi was convicted of an assault to murder for shooting at Police Officer J. C. Pumphrey and Detective Mike Desmond and remanded for sentence after being captured in New Orleans following the attack.
