A garage and a Ford automobile on Gorgas and Ross streets were wiped out by fire after an explosion inside the structure. Owner Milan Day had other men rebuilding a dwelling on the same lot after a recent previous blaze. A wheel fell from a horse drawn truck en route, delaying fire response near Texas Street.
