Hobson Burrell of the Huxford Oil filling station reported to Officers McKay and Murray that an armed bandit robbed him of 110 at his Joachim and Sumpter location. He said he was marched to a dumpsite near the viaduct, tied, and abandoned. Burrell later freed himself with a pocketknife. Detectives Connick and Farmer found discrepancies in his story.

Six-year sentence for juvenile murder convict Ernest Collins Jr
Ernest Collins Jr a 16 year old negro was convicted in juvenile court on murder charges and sentenced to six years in Mt ag reform school by Judge Frank M Coffin. The February 15 stabbing at 805 Virginia Street occurred after Collins claimed self defense though the court found the killing not justifiable. Stolen Goods Recovered In Bon Air Juvenile Case
Goods valued at over 100 dollars recovered Saturday morning from four white juveniles in Bon Air near the city, police report by Detectives Bauer and Green. Juveniles sent to juvenile court for hearing. Items include a six dollar Pure Milk Company cash ticket book from Fulton road, bicycle parts, 16 golf balls, golf clubs, 40 to 50 tools, fire hose lengths with nozzles, toys and other articles.
