Fisher Brooks a negro taxi chauffeur for R Hess of Fulton Alabama was sentenced to death by Judge Safford Berney and to be hanged August 3 for the May 21 murder of Mrs Julia May Hess. He said another man should die with him and admitted Albert Sanders as the true killer. He described the route from the St Rice hotel to the crime scene and implicated Sanders.
