A June twister torn McCook and nearby territory causing about 1 million dollars in damage. About twenty people were injured, eleven seriously, with Mrs. Charles Vernon and her child in critical condition. Debris littered the area as trees were toppled and power repairs awaited.
Earl Klinck of Evansville was convicted in criminal court yesterday of being an accessory to a false affidavit. He was sentenced to one to three years in prison and fined $100.
