Mrs Frank O Lowden wife of the Illinois candidate became suddenly ill on a train from Chicago to Kansas City. Medical aid was administered after the train reached Kansas City shortly after 8 am.
Federal officers arrested F. L. Campbell a white man described as a law filer after seizing a Hudson coach at 204 St Michael Street early this morning. The report came from the federal office detailing the seizure and arrest in the prohibition crackdown.
Lieutenant Homer N. Wilkinson, naval aviator, was killed when his aircraft crashed in Jamestown Rhode Island. Seaman Harry C. Riker was badly injured. both men from the 1 8 8 Concord unit were taken to the Newport naval hospital. Wilkinson had parachuted, but his chute failed to save him.
