Bank Robbery Arrest Sparks Manistee County Chase
Bank robbers escaped with 3000 dollars from the Antrim County State Savings Bank in Mancelona and fled by automobile. A posse pursued and engaged the robbers as four bandits barricaded in a farm building near Bellaire. two pursuers were reportedly held captive while a third was seriously wounded. Fred Gerver and Henry Litcher, both of Bellaire, were reported in custody of the robbers, and Dr J H R Gerver was said wounded as the escapees tried to halt their pursuers.

Special deputy sheriffs investigate a bullet fired from an unseen shooter into the rear of an automobile carrying I. D. Wyatt near Citronelle five miles south last Thursday night.
