Rome reports the French submarine Circe torpedoed and sunk a large enemy craft while returning to base under escort. The U-boat was hit despite escort and failed to reach safety. The incident follows other J boat results and German losses in the theater.
London dispatch says British airmen struck German bases near Zeebrugge Ostend and Bruges. A raid hit St Denis Westrem airfield in the early morning with enemy air domes attacked by warplanes and seaplanes dropping several tons of explosives.
Kronstadt soldiers and workers delegates arrived in Petrograd and met an official committee from the Petrograd council. The Kronstadt report says it does not fully grasp the government relation to the ad council. C Teheidse, president of the Petrograd council, and four others plan to visit Kronstadt Sunday to investigate the delegation’s declaration and the fortress control.
