Eight Indictments Served on Prisoner McDougall
Deputy Sheriff E A Reeves of Ham armed with eight indictments for Frank McDougall charging burglary and larceny arrived in the city to take the prisoner. Detective Reuben Dorlon and Officer McIntyre turned him over to Birmingham officers on lower Government street. The Jefferson county grand jury returned indictments in January 1920 for offenses in the county. McDougall was picked up Tuesday by Officer Denl as dangerous and suspicious. after initial release he was re-arrested at the Government street station of the L and N railroad by Sheriff Chris Harts of Jefferson County.
