A Memphis city delegation of not less than 100 eminent citizens will attend the Chickasaw Shipbuilding and Car Company launch at Chickasaw, Mobile. Miss Mary Budd Stewart will christen the vessel, with the ceremony timed to the shipyard schedule. After launch, delegates will tour the harbor before returning home Saturday night. The yard plans two more launches later, Knoxville City in August and Chattanooga City in September.
