Retail Merchants Organize Mobile Trade Boosters
About thirty merchants formed Mobile’s retail department to boost local trade. The group will coordinate with the trade expansion committee and invite nearby towns to shop in Mobile. Jacob Reiss will head the department with vice chairmen from each retail line. Myron Sprague serves as secretary. A committee will liaise with the city on license changes for transient dealers. Further meetings will be called by Reiss and the executive board.

Gulf Coast Citrus Exchange members will hold a picnic in Daphne on Tuesday July 11 to celebrate the group’s contribution to the Satsuma orange industry in Mobile and Baldwin counties. Oil Pumping Enforcement In River Case Stalled In Court
Judge David Edington in police court postponed the hearing on William Curry chief engineer of a vessel in port until tomorrow.
