Mr and Mrs W C Baumhauer narrowly escaped serious injuries when their automobile skidded on damp foggy wharf near Fairhope and plunged into Mobile Bay two and a half feet deep. The car landed on the bay bottom and occupants escaped through the upturned door as railing splintered.
