Auto theft probe uncovers eight stills in Wheelerville area
State Law Officer Rufus Cannon and Officer I H Simmons found eight barrels of stills during a search for a stolen car near Wheelerville. Moon shiners had begun operations but no still was placed. Two men at the scene were released as mash had not fermented. The mash was dumped and the coil seized in the state name. Hattie Jones Robert Johnson and J G McCarthy jailed on prohibition violations. Salisbury was fined 100 dollars or 90 days for violating the prohibition law.
