Burglars robbed Crichton and Venalia early this morning stealing clothes shoes and groceries with losses over 1000 dollars. In Mobile area officials urge harbor survey and port development while warning against premature spending and urging legislative support.
The body of a showman associated with Oakland and various lodges was found missing and later recovered at sea near Pensacola. Notes addressed to Iris Miller and other names were found in his cabin aboard the Tarpon. Report indicates financial troubles and possible self harm. police and local papers identify him as a familiar figure in Mobile Seattle Chicago and San Francisco circles.
Officers from the enforcement division report a seizure along Weeks Bay and near Elberta Alabama destroying a 200 gallon copper still and confiscating 600 gallons of beer and 120 gallons of whiskey. Del Nelson was arrested on prohibition charges.
Dr J E Jones owner of a gasu Sizand Jo-Pah-Elle arrived in the city Tuesday with his wife nephew and Genelle Dar of New York city.
