Wrecked Aircraft Located By Aerial Searching Party
Two young women died when their plane crashed on a Pennsylvania mountainside en route from Pittsburgh to New York. Ruth Stewart and Debbie Stanford, both 26, of St Louis and Indianapolis respectively, were killed instantly in the fog and rain. The wreckage lay in the Alleghenies south of here near the graveyard of aviators.

Funeral Rites Planned Friday for Robert P. Roach
Funeral services for Robert Percy Roach 64 Mobile attorney will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. from his home and 11 a.m. at St Francis Street Church. He died Wednesday afternoon at 1458 Springhill Avenue after a brief illness from heart trouble. Roach born in Livingston Ala October 19 1887 was a former Butler Choctaw County lawyer and 1930 campaign manager for Tom Heflin against John Bankhead. He served as a church teacher trustee and steward at St Francis Street Methodist Church and as trustee of the Methodist Sea Shore camp grounds. Interment will be in Pine Crest cemetery.
