Bridge bids to open for Mobile Bay span Monday
Bids on foundation and steel work for the Mobile Bay Bridge linking Mobile and Baldwin counties will be opened at 2 30 o'clock Monday in the Mobile Chamber of Commerce office. The project is funded by mortgage bonds issued by the Mobile Bay Bridge Company and allows the county to assume debt to take over the bridge. Construction is expected to start soon.
