Man Arrested After Old Shell Road Auto Crash
Freddie Fincher was arrested at an early hour by Chief Deputy Sheriff Ww. Nobbins and Deputy Mose Berkstein in connection with a midnight collision on Old Shell road west of Ashland Place. James M. Prince, 69, vegetable dealer, suffered severe injuries and was taken to City hospital. Fincher claimed he did not stop because his wife and child were injured. He said he was going about fifteen miles an hour when his car struck Prince's horse and wagon. The car and wagon were damaged and Prince and the horse sustained injuries.
