Three men linked to coast and New Orleans will face trial Monday in a case tied to a yacht named Loiterer III and three cargoes of imported liquors seized by a raiding squad. Bond set at 1000 dollars after prosecutors sought higher bonds.

John Adams formerly of Carlton California employed by the Yellow Cab Company suffered injuries to his right leg in a collision between automobiles early this morning and was taken to City hospital. Lamberg Bandenae at work on a steamer harbor also hurt his right leg in a fall and was admitted to City hospital.

Hundreds of workers laid off due to furnace curtailment will be rehired under the eight hour plan with about a 25 percent increase. The change applies to United States Steel Corporation employees and many dependents plan to abolish the twelve hour day.
The offices of H. D. Barclay general agent freight department of the Louisville and Nashville Railroad will close at 3 oclock this afternoon for the funeral of D. M. Goodwin manager at Louisville. Mr Goodwin longtime railroad official died suddenly yesterday morning at Ludington.
