A two month old white infant was found last night at 11 50 on the gallery of Tom Mayher a former police officer living at 104 Madison street. Mayher reported the discovery to Chief Van Liew. Mrs Mayher is taking care of the child. A note asking Mrs Mayher to care for the infant was pinned to the clothing but could not be located by officers.

Start Search of Atlantic Coast for Naval Bases
