A New York mother, Mrs. Victoria C. Vayek, aboard the Volturno, was separated from her three children during the fire. One girl survived on the Kroonland and was reunited with her mother at the Henry Street settlement after the liner’s arrival in New York. The fate of the two boys remains uncertain.

At 11 o clock Tuesday morning a horse owned by F. M. Miller bolted near Government and Ann streets. Miller was thrown from the wagon and slightly hurt. The wagon and two horses were damaged with the animals hurt in the collision.
All prisoners and parties indicted by the last grand jury will be arraigned in the city court on Thursday morning at 4 o'clock and their cases set for trial.
