AP reports secret session vote to remove the governor from office by 43 to 14. No disqualification from future office. Articles 1 2 6 and 4 found guilty the money articles cover falsification of campaign statements and misuse of funds while article 4 concerns suppression of evidence before the Frawley committee.
Albany dispatch reports the Sulzer impeachment trial opening secret sessions with informal votes debated by senators. Judges will explain votes in a trial where questions of law and fact mingle as eight articles are discussed before formal votes. The outcome hinges on speeches in open session and potential vote changes.

Temperature readings near Royal Corner show morning lows around mid 60s and afternoon highs near 76 with varied readings.
President Woodrow Wilson will speak from a stand on St Joseph Street in Mobile during the Southern Commercial Congress. A 200 seat platform will be built at the location in front of City Bank for the address on October 27, followed by a harbor inspection, parade, and a 12:40 p m departure on the special train.
In Plymouth Massachusetts on October 16 Assistant Fred G Katzmann outlined the state's case against Mrs Jennie May Keaton accused of murdering her husband Rear Admiral Joseph G Eaton by poison. He said jealousy was the motive and asserted strong circumstantial evidence supports a verdict of guilty in the first degree if the act was committed by a rational person.
Paris reports a telegram from the French legation in Mexico proposing a warship be sent to Mexico. Officials consider the move, likely dispatching a vessel already in American waters if the Mexican colony requests one. The French foreign office has not yet judged whether Mexico’s diplomatic corps advised caution in responding to the United States government.
London reports the British government views the Anglian situation as an internal matter. The foreign office awaits information from Mexico City and notes no actions are contemplated. A reported German warship arrival in a Mexican port has not altered policy.
Up to noon today seven vessels perished in the weeklong storm that began Monday. The Barge J. B. Thomas wrecked off Wellfleet with four lives gone, Barge Oakland wrecked off Truro with two dead, Seine boat wrecked off Sandwich with one dead, Barge Sumner R. Mead wrecked off Wellfleet with all saved, Schooner Henry D. May wrecked off Chatham with all saved, and the Georgia Pearl from Nantucket crew lost.
